Goas, Grillen, Baden, Lesen, Nachdenken.

Leider gehen die Wochen momentan zu schnell vorbei, kaum beim Freitag angekommen ist schon wieder Sonntag Abend und die normale nach-Goa-Depression kommt auf. Also Grund genug, nochmals in Galleries rumzuwühlen und sich zu freuen, wenn man sich auf einem Bild entdeckt. Danke an die unermüdlichen Goaner in der Schweiz, welche Woche für Woche zig Raves organisieren!

BTW was ist mit goa.ch passiert? Das scheint seit einigen Wochen mehr oder weniger tot zu sein, keine Parties mehr und keine Reports. Swisspsy.ch bietet zum Glück eine Alternative.

Theme updated

Life, the Universe and Everything

I finally played around with the theme, actually I was bored and had nothing else to do so I played with the CSS, the theme was found online. Yeah not great but it’s a start :)

The picture in the background is taken from my gallery and was shot at Zoom 2005, an outdoor psytrance rave in Switzerland.

The OS/2 newsgroup killer

I know, one shouldn’t read OS/2 newsgroups anymore, especially not c.o.o.m. But recently I digged in there for some reasons and for sure I found some posts as well from our good old friend Timmy:

The WPS is OS/2 code and if it is going to be integrated into a
native OS/2 version of Open Office for OS/2 version 2.0 then
IBM would have to give their ok to do so.  You can’t steal IBM’s
OS/2 code, we all know that.  Wait, maybe you are saying this
SSI place has an agreement with IBM to steal the WPS OS/2
source code and use it, is that what you are saying?

We all know that he smoked a bit too much crack but that really beats a lot he posted already. Can someone please turn this guy off? Thanks.


IBM kills OS/2, again…

IBM once again decided to kill OS/2, for sure most of the common press out there declares that as the final end of OS/2, as we can see in the big list of comments about it.

All I can say about this is said by two (first, second) excellent comic strips from Christopher B. Wright, which for sure did use OS/2 back in the good old days :) Thanks Chris, you made my day!
